Opposites Attract

Isn’t it true that if you had curly hair, you always want straight.  If you have light skin, you want dark.  If you are blonde, you wish to be brunette…?  I know we should be happy with what we are given, but sometimes I wish I was born with dark brown hair and full eyebrows like these ladies:

Don’t get me wrong, I am SUPER fortunate to have green eyes and blonde hair(and Jean Pierre, you are not allowed to comment about how I’m a ginger now).  It’s just one of those days that you wish you had something that you don’t.  Know what I mean?

Gung Hay Fat Choy!

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!  Yes, we’ve had a rough weekend….rain, the Niners losing, being sick….  So I’ve decided to post some uplifting pictures to get us ready for the week ahead.  Here’s to sunshine, a week off of football, and enjoying the fact that I am almost not sick anymore.

I am SO ready for the weekend.  I have come down with a cold from one of the kiddies I watch, and now I just want to lay in bed, watch movies, read, and listen to the pounding rain outside.  xo

A big thanks goes out to Mom, Dad, Miran and Joey for coming out to support me during my half marathon.  I had an absolute blast running it & it was so exciting to see your smiling faces(and awesome signs) through out the race.  Official time was 2:02 which I am ecstatic about.  Here’s just a few pictures from that day:

Beach Dreaming

I sort of can’t wait for this weekend because I get to “enjoy”(that’s quoted because I will be running 13.1miles while doing so) the beach!  Other than my family, the beach is a major element I miss about living in Southern Cali.  But as always, I get to visit any time I want.  Here’s some gorgeous shots of The Glamourai soaking up the sun in Malibu.
